Detailing life at AJ’s hair salon, this show spotlights AJ Johnson himself as well as the rest of the gang employed there. AJ’s counts celebrities among its clientele, including Jennifer Hudson and Iman.

Windy City Times: Hi, MaCray. Where are you originally from?
MaCray Huff: I am from Virginia.
WCT: How did you wind up in Chicago?
MH: I always wanted to live in the city. I just packed up my stuff and moved from my parents place. I just wanted to live in a big city and every time I came here I had fun. I knew New York would be too much for me and L.A. was too far away.
WCT: That’s how I picked Chicago, too. This is a great place to live.

On June 11th, 2012, Style Network Television launched an American Reality Series called Chicagolicious. It was a Spinoff of the network’s hit show, Jerseylicious.
Yes, I was featured on this show for the entire first season! The show followed the story of AJ Johnson and his fabulous styling team at his salon in downtown Chicago. I worked on the show as the Junior Associate for the salon’s PR team under Julie Darling’s firm. Together we would host events and throw fabulous parties for the salon and it’s clients!
Throughout the season , I am introduced on a more personal level. You learn that not only do I do PR, but I am also a full time professional musician. The series follows the ups and downs of working two full time jobs, a story that I feel a lot of people my age can relate to!
Chicagolicious Bio: Jennifer is still finishing up school but has already launched her career by working for Julie as a junior associate. She loves AJ’s salon and wants to help them flourish.
