Tshala Muana was a Congolese singer, songwriter, and dancer. She was best known for her top hits of the 80s, Amina, Tshebele, Antidote, and Karibu Yangu. Unlike most Congolese musicians who primarily sang in Lingala, Tshala Muana employed the Mutuashi rhythm and composed songs in her first language, Tshiluba.
