Biographie
[modifier | modifier le code]Zana Marjanović est diplômée de l'académie des arts du spectacle de l'université de Sarajevo. Elle obtient son premier rôle au cinéma dans L'Été dans la vallée d'or de Srđan Vuletić, sorti en 2003[1]. Elle joue dans des séries télévisées bosniennes et au théâtre[2].
Zana Marjanović se fait connaître en 2008 en interprétant Alma dans le film Premières Neiges réalisé par Aida Begić, récompensé par plusieurs prix. En 2011, elle tient le rôle principal féminin dans le premier long métrage réalisé par Angelina Jolie, Au pays du sang et du miel, nommé aux Golden Globe Awards[1].

In the war drama In the Land of Blood and Honey, which marks the writing and directorial debut of Angelina Jolie, Danijel (Goran Kostic) is a Bosnian Serb police officer and Ajla (Zana Marjanovic) is a Bosnian Muslim artist.
