Gregor has only one wish: to graduate from high school as soon as possible. Although he is placed in a fabulous boarding school and his best friend Arthur would go with him through thick and thin. But something is not right with Arthur. His gaze, which seems to literally pierce you. His almost neurotic aversion to being photographed. This vision in which his father appeared to him at the moment of his death. Then Gregor meets Billie, a young, separated mother, to whom he is immediately attracted - all the more so after she tells him that she has had a very similar apparition to Arthur. Like his friend, Billie exudes an aura of the unfathomable, a feeling as if standing on the edge of an abyss. The eerie love story based on the motifs of Henry James.

Dominik Graf (born 6 September 1952) is a German film director.
He studied film direction at University of Television and Film Munich, from where he graduated in 1975.[1] While he has directed several theatrically released feature films since the 1980s, he more often finds work in television, focussing primarily on the genres police drama, thriller and crime mystery, although he has also made comedies, melodramas, documentaries and essay films.
He is an active participant in public discourse about the values of genre film in Germany, through numerous articles, and interviews, some of which have been collected into a book.[2]
Graf achieved international recognition in 2014 with his film Beloved Sisters, which was selected
